About MSY Sequoia Charter
Sequoia is a 30-meter hand-crafted wooden schooner, the result of four years of meticulous design by her owner to explore Indonesia’s vast 18,000-island archipelago. Blending traditional craftsmanship with modern marine technology, she prioritizes safety, sustainability, and understated elegance. Eco-friendly systems, the elimination of single-use plastics, and advanced materials ensure quiet, low-impact cruising—allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in one of the most pristine cruising grounds on earth.
Chartering in Indonesia unlocks a world few travelers ever reach: remote islands untouched by mass tourism, vibrant coral reefs within the heart of the Coral Triangle, ancient cultures, and ever-changing landscapes of jungle-covered islets, volcanic peaks, and hidden lagoons. Each voyage aboard Sequoia is deeply personal and flexible—whether anchoring alone in a deserted bay, diving among some of the planet’s richest marine biodiversity, or discovering traditional villages where time seems to stand still. The scale and diversity of Indonesia make every day feel entirely new, offering a true sense of exploration rather than a fixed itinerary.
Sequoia’s main deck features The Great Room, a spacious open-air salon designed for comfort, connection, and shared moments. Surrounded by handcrafted teak-louvered doors, it creates an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere that flows seamlessly with the surrounding seascape. At its heart, a grand teak dining table invites long, convivial meals, complemented by a bespoke beverage center serving tropical drinks and handcrafted cocktails. Finished with a radiant Awlwood treatment, the space celebrates the natural beauty of teak—making it not just a place to gather, but a setting where unforgettable memories of Indonesia are made.
