Hi, I’m Amanda Qvarfordt – yacht charter consultant based in Sweden, with roots in the vibrant Caribbean island of Tobago. My journey into the world of yachting began quite literally beneath the surface—I started my career as a PADI dive instructor, guiding people through the crystal-clear waters of Tobago, helping them discover the magic of the ocean one dive at a time.

Those early years in Tobago shaped my relationship with the sea. The underwater world became my office, my classroom, and my playground. I spent countless hours exploring coral reefs, meeting people from all walks of life, and learning what it means to truly connect with nature—and with others—through shared experience. It taught me patience, precision, and the joy of making unforgettable memories happen. All of those values have followed me into my work in yacht chartering today.

After diving professionally, I transitioned into hospitality and marketing, adding a different layer to my skillset. I realized that what I loved most was curating experiences—bringing people together in extraordinary settings and taking care of the details so they could simply enjoy. That’s what eventually led me to the yacht charter world: the perfect blend of adventure, service, and personalization.

Now based in Sweden (where the waters are a bit colder but the sunsets are just as beautiful), I work with clients from around the world to craft tailor-made yacht charters. I bring both Caribbean warmth and Scandinavian reliability to everything I do. I know how important trust and communication are when you’re planning something as special as a yacht holiday. My role is to listen carefully, ask the right questions, and guide you through the process with transparency and care—so you feel confident every step of the way.

What makes yacht chartering so exciting for me is that no two trips are the same. Every client has a unique story, and every destination offers something new. I see myself as a matchmaker—not just between people and yachts, but between dreams and reality. I love creating those “wow” moments—whether it’s finding a family-friendly catamaran in the British Virgin Islands, a romantic crewed sailboat in the Cyclades, or an adventure-filled dive charter in the Maldives.

When I’m not working on charters, I’m usually drinking strong Swedish coffee, planning my next escape to the sun, or gently reminding my Scandinavian friends that yes—rum punch does count as a cultural tradition. I also stay active in the field by visiting yachts, meeting crews, and keeping up with the latest destinations, so I can give you first-hand advice and insider recommendations.

Helping people make memories at sea is more than a job for me—it’s a calling. From my very first dive in Tobago to every dream charter I help bring to life today, it’s all about that deep love for the ocean and the incredible experiences it makes possible.
