I am originally from Venezuela, and I grew up with the ocean as my backyard. Since I was just three years old, I have been snorkeling and diving—my family lived and breathed the sea. That connection only deepened over time, becoming a lifelong passion that now includes sailing, scuba diving, paddleboarding, surfing, kite-surfing, and pretty much anything that involves saltwater and sunshine. Interestingly, I did not learn to sail in the Caribbean. It was actually in Ireland—on a crisp November day—when I took the helm of a sailboat for the first time. It was cold, wild, and absolutely unforgettable. I remember thinking: “If I love this here, I’ll be in heaven back home.”

That was the spark that launched my career at sea. Over a decade ago, I began working aboard catamarans throughout the Caribbean, taking on the dual role of chef and first mate. I was not just cooking—I was charting courses, anchoring, assisting the captain, and welcoming guests aboard, as well as training and mentoring new crew members. I learned the rhythm of life at sea, day in and day out, and gained a deep understanding of what it takes to create an exceptional experience on the water. I sailed across the Caribbean, learning from every island, every culture, and every crew along the way. Today, I bring that experience to every charter I design. Because I have been on the other side, I know what makes a sailing holiday truly special. I will be there with you, from the very first question to the tiniest of details, making sure everything runs smoothly.
