Bio

Hi, I’m Jozy, Head of Charter here at Odyssea Yachting. I help bring amazing sailing adventures to life—whether it’s a romantic escape, a family vacation, or a bucket-list trip with friends. But how did a little island girl like me end up in the world of luxury yachts?

I grew up in the Caribbean, where life was all about sunshine, sea, and that easygoing island rhythm. Later on, I moved to France and England to study—first in Besançon, then London—and from there, life took me on a bit of a detour into fashion. I spent two years modeling across Europe, working with incredible designers like Issey Miyake, Paco Rabanne, Yves Saint Laurent, and the Caribbean’s very own Meiling. It was an adventure that definitely shaped my outlook on life.

Because of all those experiences, I speak fluent French with a good handle on Spanish too. I’ve been lucky to live in so many different places, and it’s given me a deep appreciation for people, culture, and the little joys in life.

After that chapter, life brought me back to the islands, where everything felt familiar yet new again. I met my husband, Franck, in Tobago—a yacht captain and watersports instructor with salt in his veins and a deep love for the ocean. Through him, I rediscovered my own connection to the sea. Together, we ran a watersports shop, and he introduced me to diving, wakeboarding, kite-surfing, and, most importantly, sailing. It wasn’t long before the sea became our home. We spent years sailing as a team—Franck at the helm as captain, and me as first mate—sharing unforgettable moments with guests from all over the world.

Now, I get to keep doing what I love—just in a different way: helping others plan their own dreamy sailing getaways. Before launching Odyssea Yachting, I was Head of Operations at Alizés Charters in Tobago, where we managed a franchise yacht for over two years. It was a joy welcoming guests aboard and inviting them to experience the beauty of sailing through the waters I call home.

For me, it’s all about creating meaningful memories, sharing a little love, and helping people reconnect with the magic of the ocean—and the wonder of this beautiful planet we all share.

When I’m not out on the water with Franco—as he’s affectionately known—and our two daughters, you’ll likely find me either on the surf spot or at home enjoying the simple life and quality time with my family. Because at the end of the day, that’s what life is really about: meaningful moments, good people, and a whole lot of love.

Let’s make your sailing dream come true.
