Bio

For as long as I can remember, the sea has shaped my life. From my grandfather’s wooden fishing boat to my uncle’s Golif—one of the first GRP production sailboats of the 1960s—I grew up with salt on my skin and a tiller in my hand. Summer holidays in Brittany were spent offshore, never on land, and with a Merchant Marine officer as a father, my course was charted early toward a life at sea.

Looking back on more than forty years spent in the marine world, each chapter has contributed to the experience I bring to yacht brokerage today. My training at marine school grounded me in traditional navigation techniques, just as new technologies were beginning to emerge. Offshore multihull racing taught me to push limits and make sound decisions when sailing at 25 to 30 knots in heavy seas and strong winds. Delivering yachts across oceans sharpened my seamanship at a time when weather routing and communication tools were nothing like the systems we now take for granted.

Later, working as a skipper on charter and private yachts showed me that a captain must be not only a strong mariner but also a thoughtful host. Building pleasure craft introduced me to the world of comfort, style, and owner expectations, while constructing professional vessels required a disciplined focus on performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. Years spent selling new-build yachts for a renowned shipyard allowed me to meet exceptional owners—many of whom became lifelong friends.

All these experiences naturally lead me to brokerage. Understanding boats is essential, but understanding people is even more so. I believe that my journey enables me to listen, advise, and guide buyers toward the yacht that truly matches their needs, aspirations, and way of life.

My goal is simple: to share a lifetime at sea to help others begin the next chapter of their own maritime adventures.
