This is a sample itinerary that might be altered by the captain depending on weather factors or guests’ requests.
Start the day with breakfast and an optional early swim before we depart to Wippari Caye, located about 10 nautical miles northeast of Placencia. This caye is perfect for fishing, snorkeling, and calm waters. The day's highlight is Julian Cabral's beautiful beach bar, where fishing enthusiasts can enjoy a beer and learn about the best ways to catch fish. Spend the day relaxing, swimming, and snorkeling, and capture the unforgettable sunset. Remember to bring your camera!
After breakfast, you can help the captain hoist the sails for a 2-hour journey to Queens Cays. This group of cayes consists of three exotic sand cayes. Your yacht will be moored close to the caye, so you can jump off and swim ashore. Enjoy the crystal clear water and great snorkeling. Lunch will be served on board, followed by scuba diving on the nearby outer barrier reef. Finally, end the day by appreciating the beauty of the paradise around you.
We will have a Sailor's breakfast before taking the dinghy to a dive site, where you can see an abundance of fish and reef sharks. After the dive, we will sail south to Ranguana Caye. Pat runs the bar and restaurant on the Caye and serves the freshest seafood. You can relax in the hammocks on the beach and enjoy snorkeling in the coral reef waters. Ranguana Caye is perfect for fishermen, offering some of the best bonefish in Belize. After dinner, stroll under the moonlight and gaze at the incredible stars.
After breakfast, we will sail to Pompion Cay, where you can stroll on the sandy shores and search for treasures that wash ashore. Then, snorkel right off the beach and explore the underwater paradise. Scuba divers will enjoy another reef dive to Lobster Point, where they can see lobsters. Lunch will be served on board before we set sail to Little Water Caye for cocktails and the last swim of the day. Finally, end the day with a delicious dinner on board.
Laughing Bird Caye is 5 nautical miles southwest and home to the noisy Laughingbird Gull. This small sand caye has an information center where all your questions about the creatures underneath the waves will be answered. You can snorkel and dive right off the beach with an underwater reef dropping to 60ft vertically. This marine park is protected, so fishing is prohibited on or around the caye. You can see some bigger marine creatures here, including football-sized lobsters.
After breakfast, enjoy an early morning snorkel before we sail to Colson Caye. Once we arrive, we will have lunch onboard, followed by a swim before we head back to Placencia. Finally, we will dine at our favorite local restaurant tonight to compensate for the end of the sailing part of our adventure.
